The JD-Next project, which attempts to improve and expedite the exam registration and administration procedures for high-stakes exams, will be worked on by the software developer (Open Edx, Python). This entails creating elements like test registration, demographic forms, handling of accommodations requests, integration of single sign-on (SSO), exam simulation, and functionality for reporting scores.
- Create and execute new features for the JD-Next project with an eye toward enhancing the administrative and student experience.
- Assure smooth integration for high-stakes test access and exam simulations with external systems such as Territorium.
- For psychometric analysis, create and maintain demographic forms and survey data.
- Construct sturdy accommodations, ask for administration and student request management tools.
- Put secure data transmission techniques and SSO into practice.
- Notification systems, discussion boards, and user-friendly permissions can all improve the quality of the course experience.
- Uphold strict guidelines for code performance, security, and quality.
Conditions
- Demonstrated expertise in developing Open edX platforms.
- Proficiency with the Django web platform and Python.
- Solid knowledge of web development technologies, including AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
