Through on-demand one-on-one tutoring, small-group interventions across corporate products, or as part of the company’s World Language program, the Online Tutor provides instruction to students in Grades 3–12 in either French or Spanish, or in the four core disciplines. The aim of this cross-functional and collaborative role is to assist kids with a range of requirements.
- Type of Position: Full-time, regular employment is available.
- Pay: Base pay is expected to range from $18.14 to $21.78 per hour. Moreover, depending on their own and/or the business’s performance, qualified employees may be paid incentives, commissions, or yearly bonuses. Individual abilities, experience, training, education, and certifications, as well as geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions, may all have an impact on compensation.

In this position, you will be able to:
- Based on experience and subject matter expertise, it offers 1:1 synchronous tutoring across a range of grade levels and topic areas via chat, text, and audio communication.

The following credentials, training, and experience are necessary for this position to succeed:
- A minimum of one year of experience tutoring students directly connected to their tasks and a bachelor’s degree in education or a similar discipline, or a suitable mix of education and experience.
- It is preferred to have an active teaching certification.
- Fluency in two languages preferred for roles in Spanish and French.
- As required by the role, proficiency in two or more of the following subjects: Spanish, French, English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

- Preference is given to prior online or hybrid learning experience.
- Extremely driven and has outstanding problem-solving and verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capacity to come up with original ideas and solutions in order to help kids in an efficient manner.
- Self-starter with excellent time-management and organizational abilities, self-directed, and capable of managing several priorities under strict deadlines.
